Labyrinth

Labyrinth is a mobile robot designed to move through any maze via remote control. The enclosure is made with a combination of 3D printed ABS and laser cut acrylic. This robot has proved to move very fast with its two 30:1 high-powered Pololu micromotors. The small cylindrical indent in the top surface allows for easy transportation of small objects like a golf ball or pet hamster.

Although this project is relatively complete (needs a good paint job), the goal in the near future is to add autonomous capabilities using the six infrared LEDs and phototransitors that station at the front and sides of the robot. The combination of these two components will be used to track and check for surrounding walls and rotate depending on the combination of inputs.
