Kesif PuppetBall

The PuppetBall project is a subsystem of the KeÅŸif project. My job was to design and fabricate the spheres so that the inside could be observed without damaging the circuit and cutting off the color display. This required splitting the ball into hemispheres with each half containing its own circuitry. The most interesting part of this design is not in the 3D printed shells but rather the code that allowed the two sides to communicate and synchronize their color display.                    Note: This project was conceived by the University of Pennsylvania Team KeÅŸif and created for the 2014 Walt Disney Imagineering’s Imaginations Design Competition. This project is the sole property of Walt Disney Imagineering and all rights to use these ideas are exclusive to Walt Disney Imagineering. The competition is a way for students and recent graduates to showcase their talents and for Walt Disney Imagineering to identify new talent.
